Hey Joe - The Oil Ran Out!
January 15th 2008 22:38
January 16, 2008.
US President, George W Bush, says he hopes oil producers will consider the impact of the current "very high" prices, when they are considering output levels. His appeal is on the back of recent oil price increases in the US (and indeed in Australia, too), with very little justification for doing so.
While currently visiting the Middle East, Bush met with entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, and said that he would speak to King Abdullah "about the fact that oil prices are very high, which is tough on our economy".
Ironically, only this morning, the CEO of General Motors, at a conference in Detroit, admitted that oil has certainly reached its peak and that searching for alternatives (electric/solar cars) is the future.
Obviously Bush has other things on his mind though.. [ $ $ $ ]
And no, please don't call me a cynic.
