Putin Has No Soul, Kenya & The Strip

Janurary 7, 2008.
Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama has made the most of his recent momentum on the weekend by outlining more of his policies. His pledge is for change, but his main rival, Hillary Clinton, is accusing Obama of saying one thing, and meaning another. Sound familiar? Rudd and Garrett last year in our election.
Meanwhile, Clinton joked that Russian President Vladimir Putin, as an ex-KGB agent, had no soul, in the latest swipe at Russia from the 2008 campaign trail.
After months of peace in the Gaza Strip, violence has once again erupted. Three Palestinians’ have been killed, and even more injured. For 12 months now the strip has been controlled by Hamas, a "terrorist" organisation, according to Israel and the Americans, but sadly, it now looks as if the fight for land and supremacy is back on.
And finally, the Opposition party in Kenya is set for diplomatic talks with the newly re-elected government, in an attempt to bring peace to the region. Nonetheless, the country is in turmoil, after tribal disagreements over the election validity, have left millions homeless.
